A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
This position is a member of the Georgia-Pacific Regional Infrastructure team working out of our facility in Rincon, Ga. which is approximately 25 minutes from downtown Savannah, GA. Your responsibilities will include managing and supporting a wide variety of technologies within a manufacturing environment. Some of the key technologies include Windows Server technologies, virtual server environments, Business and process control LANs, wireless networking, Windows desktops, storage, and backups. The position also provides timely completion of internal customer desktop hardware and software IT requests utilizing a central help desk ticketing system in a manufacturing environment. Troubleshooting issues related all IT elements to discover and remediate root cause. This role will analyze issues and demand to propose investments to improve reliability, cost, and security with the business and process control IT environments. Participates in the infrastructure on call rotation which includes being on-call 24x7 for one week at a time.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Excellent Technical and troubleshooting skills.
Good Customer Focus and process approach to work.
Economic thinking and ability to help formulate a strategic plan.
Understand and translate business requirements.
Ability to work independently, set goals, and achieving milestones with minimal direction and a correct sense of urgency.
Ability to work as part of a team, driving toward common goals, and working within standardized processes.
Ability to participate in a rotating on-call support schedule.
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in technical support.
Experience with Windows Server Operating System.
Experience with Local Area Network (wired & wireless).
Ability to participate in a rotating on-call support schedule.
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree or higher in a technical field (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
Experience IT support in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting Business and Process Control environments.
Experience with VMWare and SAN.
Experience with Cisco networking.
Experience with DHCP, DNS and Active Directory.
Experience with security as relating to PCs/LAN/wireless, network troubleshooting, firewalls.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
