As a Medical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our medical facility and you will work collaboratively with providers and administration to oversee and coordinate all office operations, to achieve and maintain clinical quality, financial viability, patient and visitor safety as well as service excellence and patient satisfaction.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of the office and all its employees; responsible for the coordination of all practice services including but not limited to patient access, scheduling, pre-authorization, chart management, clinical operations, any procedures and/or other functions.
This is a working coordinator position and involves covering the front office or back office as needed.
Medical experience with both front office and back office is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the medical office.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and other privacy laws.
- Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with providers to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Implement and maintain systems for efficient workflow and communication within the medical office.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, including training and performance evaluations Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred - Proven experience in a medical management role, preferably in medical office setting - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices.
Pulmonary/sleep preferred.
