- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and updating medical records - Assist with medical documentation, including dental coding and maintaining accurate patient records - Utilize electronic dental record systems- Eaglesoft - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
